PuttLog is a disc golf putting-practice tracker. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it's handled.
PuttLog does not collect, transmit, or share any data. Everything you record stays on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
Putts you log (distance, make/miss, and timestamp) and your app preferences (distance unit, quick-entry range, audio input setting) are stored locally on your device only, using standard Android local storage (Room database and DataStore). This data is never sent anywhere. You can delete it at any time from Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Voice input is an optional setting, off by default. When you turn it on, PuttLog uses Android's built-in, on-device speech recognizer to convert your speech ("20 make", "15 miss") into a logged putt. Audio is processed entirely on your device by the operating system's speech recognition service — PuttLog does not record, store, or transmit audio, and no audio or transcript data leaves your device.
PuttLog does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
